Prof. John Metzger has served as an assistant professor in Urban and Regional Planning at Michigan State University where he specialized in real estate and economic development. An expert in community reinvestment, Dr. Metzger has provided technical assistance to a wide range of organizations including CDCs, public housing tenant management corporations and other public and private-sector entities. Dr. Metzger holds a degree in Political Science and Urban Studies from Northwestern University, a Masters of Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois, Chicago and a Ph.D. in Urban Planning from Columbia University.
